About

Julius de Kempenaer & Trevor Neil

With over 75 years of combined experience on both the buy- and sell-side of the trading floor, RRG directors Julius de Kempenaer and Trevor Neil are experts in their investment field.

Julius: Having embarked on his career in the financial services industry in 1990 as a portfolio manager, Julius quickly moved to more analysis-based roles at some of the Netherlands’ best-known investment firms. 2011 saw the launch of Relative Rotation Graphs on Bloomberg’s trading platform and, in 2014, he left his role as director of quantitative strategy at Taler Asset Management Ltd. to focus on the growth and development of RRG Research.

Trevor: Hailing from Scotland and educated in Northern Ireland, Trevor took his first job in the City at the age of 18 and has been a trader ever since. As well as his stints in the City, Trevor has worked on the LIFFE floor and as Head of Technical Analysis at Bloomberg. In 2003, Trevor founded his own training company, BETA Group, and began managing a hedge fund based in South Africa. As a director at RRG Research, Trevor applies his extensive experience in market timing techniques to aid the development and adoption of RRG amongst traders from the biggest institutions in the world.

“This technique was not available to the public up until now. It would be a very difficult thing to replicate.”
