You can reset your password by selecting ‘Forgotten Password’ on the login page. We will then send instructions for changing your password to the email address you use to log into your account.

Your account number can be found in the top left-hand corner of your platform screen. You can also find your account number in the email that you received confirming your account is open.

On the iPhone and iPad, select the 'More' button, and on Android devices go to the side menu, and choose 'Switch Accounts'.

For desktop, please visit the "My Accounts" section on the left side of the platform where you will see a full list of your accounts"

Yes. We offer a free demo account containing virtual funds. This allows you to try out our platform in a risk-free environment and practise trading strategies and techniques. Please note that our demo account doesn't display prices for share CFDs after 30 days. 

All you need to do to open a demo account is provide a valid email address, your full name, phone number and password. Open a demo account now. Once you have opened a demo account, you will need to click on the verification link sent to your registered email address to activate it.

Once you have received confirmation that your account has been opened and you have verified your email address, you can log in via our website. To sign in you will need to enter your registered email address and password as used on your application form, then, select live or demo account.

You can fund your account through the following options. Please ensure that any payment you make to fund your account is from an account in your name. Any payment from third party sources will be returned.

Note:

• Charges will be deducted from the payment amount and net proceeds credited to your trading account. 

• If you deposit more than USD $5,000, we will reimburse the charges into your trading account.

• If funding received does not match the currency of the account, a delay in processing will occur.

•  Any payments made before 11am EST will be received within 1 business day.

You can fund your account through the following options. Please ensure that any payment you make to fund your account is from an account in your name. Any payments made into a personal trading account must also be from a personal bank account. Likewise, any payments made into a corporate trading account must only come from a corporate bank account. Any payment from third party sources will be returned.

*You must have EFT set up in your account before this feature can be utilized. EFT requests received before 11am EST may be processed same-day.

* The document you submit should clearly display your bank account number, transit number, and full name. (No more than 3 months old)

To initiate the registration of your bank account, please verify that there are sufficient funds available in the account you wish to link. If necessary, you can confirm this by making a small deposit via your bank's online bill payment system.

Once you've confirmed the funds are available, kindly provide one of the following documents for verification purposes:

a. Bank statement

b. Void check

c. Direct deposit form

The bank account must be the same as where you deposited from. If there is no prior deposit from your bank account, we will be unable to link with your bank account for withdrawal. 

The document you submit should clearly display your bank account number, routing number, and full name.

Once set up you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to perform withdrawals via our online portal

You can withdraw funds from your account online by clicking on the 'Payments' icon and then selecting the 'Withdrawals' tab. Please be aware that for your protection, we may request additional information and/or proof of identity before processing the withdrawal request. We do not transfer funds to a third-party account so please ensure that the bank account is in your name.

*You must have EFT set up in your account before this feature can be utilized. Requests received before 11am (EST) may be processed same-day.

Note:

•  - If your bank details are on file, we will process this request the same day, before our cut-off time of 11 am (EST).
•  - If the currency of the funds being sent does not match the currency of the receiving bank account, you will be charged your bank’s conversion rate.

Click or tap on the 'Sell' or 'Buy' price and an order ticket will appear. Choose between 'Market Order', 'Limit Order', or 'Stop Entry Order', input the trade size and then hit enter, add any 'Stop Loss' and 'Take Profit' levels and then place your trade.

On our mobile apps you can swipe from left to right anywhere on the order ticket to reveal a chart and use price sliders to set trade levels directly from the chart. Tablets use the extra screen space to display the chart to the left of the order ticket with your relevant order price and risk management levels shown against historical price action. Remember that information relating to past performance does not indicate future performance.

We may use your information to make further enquiries about you, including checks to combat fraud. We do not sell your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes. To add a new card, log in to your account and go to Account tab > Funding tab > Add Funds > Card.

You will be prompted to enter an amount and card details. After making a payment, your card will be automatically registered for future transactions.

If you have a USD bank account, we suggest opening a USD trading account to avoid conversion fees.

If you’re funding USD-denominated assets on a CAD account, you may be incurred with FX merchant fees which depends on your card provider or bank.

3D Secure is an added layer of security to prevent fraud when making card payments online. If you are enrolled in 3D Secure, you will be directed to your bank’s verification page when making a card deposit.

CMC Markets accepts credit cards issued by Mastercard and Visa. To ensure the security of our transactions, we are unable to accept prepaid cards. These cards can be funded by multiple sources, making it difficult to verify the origin of the funds and increasing the potential for fraud.

If you have not funded your account with a registered card in a period of 12 months or more, or if your card has expired, we won’t be able to transfer your funds back to that card.

CMC Markets will never ask for any sensitive information including card details.

If your card is expired, please give us a call at +1866 884 2608 and we will be happy to remove the expired card for you.

For your safety, it is crucial to immediately contact your bank or card issuer to block the card.
