How can I reset my password?
You can reset your password by selecting ‘Forgotten Password’ on the login page. We will then send instructions for changing your password to the email address you use to log into your account.
Where can I find my account number?
Your account number can be found in the top left-hand corner of your platform screen. You can also find your account number in the email that you received confirming your account is open.
How can I switch accounts?
On the iPhone and iPad, select the 'More' button, and on Android devices go to the side menu, and choose 'Switch Accounts'.
For desktop, please visit the "My Accounts" section on the left side of the platform where you will see a full list of your accounts"
Do you offer a demo account?
Yes. We offer a free demo account containing virtual funds. This allows you to try out our platform in a risk-free environment and practise trading strategies and techniques. Please note that our demo account doesn't display prices for share CFDs after 30 days.
All you need to do to open a demo account is provide a valid email address, your full name, phone number and password. Open a demo account now. Once you have opened a demo account, you will need to click on the verification link sent to your registered email address to activate it.
How do I log into my CMC Markets account?
Once you have received confirmation that your account has been opened and you have verified your email address, you can log in via our website. To sign in you will need to enter your registered email address and password as used on your application form, then, select live or demo account.
How do I fund my account - CAD?
You can fund your account through the following options. Please ensure that any payment you make to fund your account is from an account in your name. Any payment from third party sources will be returned.

Note:
- Charges will be deducted from the payment amount and net proceeds credited to your trading account. We do not accept any credit card payments.
- If you deposit more than USD $5,000, we will reimburse the charges into your trading account.
- If funding received does not match the currency of the account, a delay in processing will occur.
- Any payments made before 11am EST will be received within 1 business day.
How do I fund my account - USD?
You can fund your account through the following options. Please ensure that any payment you make to fund your account is from an account in your name. Any payments made into a personal trading account must also be from a personal bank account. Likewise, any payments made into a corporate trading account must only come from a corporate bank account. Any payment from third party sources will be returned.

Note:
How do I link a bank account for withdrawals?
To initiate the registration of your bank account, please verify that there are sufficient funds available in the account you wish to link. If necessary, you can confirm this by making a small deposit via your bank's online bill payment system.
Once you've confirmed the funds are available, kindly provide one of the following documents for verification purposes:
a. Bank statement
b. Void check
c. Direct deposit form
The bank account must be the same as where you deposited from. If there is no prior deposit from your bank account, we will be unable to link with your bank account for withdrawal.
The document you submit should clearly display your bank account number, routing number, and full name.
Once set up you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to perform withdrawals via our online portal
How can I withdraw funds from my account?
You can withdraw funds from your account online by clicking on the 'Payments' icon and then selecting the 'Withdrawals' tab. Please be aware that for your protection, we may request additional information and/or proof of identity before processing the withdrawal request. We do not transfer funds to a third-party account so please ensure that the bank account is in your name.

How do I place a trade?
Click or tap on the 'Sell' or 'Buy' price and an order ticket will appear. Choose between 'Market Order', 'Limit Order', or 'Stop Entry Order', input the trade size and then hit enter, add any 'Stop Loss' and 'Take Profit' levels and then place your trade.
On our mobile apps you can swipe from left to right anywhere on the order ticket to reveal a chart and use price sliders to set trade levels directly from the chart. Tablets use the extra screen space to display the chart to the left of the order ticket with your relevant order price and risk management levels shown against historical price action. Remember that information relating to past performance does not indicate future performance.
What does CMC Markets do with my personal information?
We may use your information to make further enquiries about you, including checks to combat fraud. We do not sell your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes.
