Our approach

Aligning with the Our Tomorrow sustainability strategy, our People Positive approach encompasses our focus on improving the gender balance, championing employee diversity according to ethnicity, and fostering an inclusive culture for clients and colleagues with disabilities.

Gender

We're committed to increasing the number of women at all levels within CMC Markets. We're working hard to ensure that our policies and processes help our staff achieve their potential, and have the same opportunities throughout an employee's lifecycle - from recruitment and training through to progression. Formalising our commitment to improving the gender balance at CMC and within the industry, we became signatories of the UK HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter. Our Women@CMC employee resource group brings our women in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Canada together, to network, grow, retain and develop talent, and educate about allyship.

We're a global organisation, with a culturally diverse workforce. We've developed a workplace culture where race and ethnicity are celebrated by marking dates of significance and allyship. Through our partnership with Investing in Ethnicity, we're continuing to develop and address our understanding of race and ethnicity in the workplace.

Accessibility and disability

Respect and acceptance of differences we can and can't see is a key piece of our accessibility and disability inclusion. We recognise that having a disability should not be a barrier as an employee of CMC Markets, or as a client. We're a member of Business Disability Forum and are working to improve the experiences of employees and clients of CMC Markets.
