Margin calls

• When your Account Revaluation Amount falls below 100% of your Margin requirement you will receive a timestamped Margin Call warning email.
• If your Account Revaluation Amount rises to above 100% of your Margin requirement, prior to the expiration of seven (7) twenty-four (24) hour periods, your Account will no longer be on Margin Call.
• When your Account Revaluation Amount falls to 80% of your Margin requirement you will receive an Account Close-Out warning email. At the same time, an Account Close-Out warning pop-up will appear on your Account.

To prevent Account Close-Out you can either add funds to your Account or close off some of your Positions.

From 10th June 2022, there will be two circumstances in which Account Close-Out can be triggered:

1. If your Account remains on Margin Call for seven (7) continuous twenty-four (24) hour periods.
2. If your Account Revaluation Amount drops below the Close-Out Level.
   • Close-Out Level is the applicable level at which the Platform may close the whole or a portion of your Positions in accordance with your Account settings. This is currently set to 50% of your Margin requirements.
   • When your Account Revaluation Amount falls to Close-Out Level you will receive a subsequent email informing you that your Account has entered Account Close-Out.

• Previously, your Account could be on Margin Call for an indefinite amount of time so long as your Account Revaluation Amount did not fall below 50% of your Margin requirement.
• From 10 June 2022 – when your Account is on Margin Call for a continuous period of seven (7) twenty four (24) hour periods, your Account will enter Account Close-Out.
