The Euro 50 is based on Europe’s benchmark market capitalisation-weighted stock index, which contains 50 large blue-chip European companies operating in eurozone nations. The index provider is owned by Deutsche Börse Group and is mainly dominated by French and German companies. Constituent stocks include Adidas (Germany), Total (France), BBVA (Spain), Eni (Italy), Unilever (Netherlands) and Nokia (Finland).
